The Commander, 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Ohafia, Brigadier General AM Dikko, on 12 February 2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance (NNCAF), Owerrinta, Abia State. The visit was aimed at strengthening and fostering professional cooperation between the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, particularly in addressing operational and internal security matters within Abia State. In his remark, the Brigade Commander commended the College for maintaining a serene, well-managed and conducive learning environment. He further acknowledged NNCAF’s critical role in capacity development, financial management training and the grooming of competent personnel for the Armed Forces of Nigeria. He underscored the importance of continues engagement among sister services to promote effeciency, accountability and overall mission effectiveness.
Responding, the Commandant, Commodore Quadri expressed appreciation for the visit and described it as timely and significant. He reaffirmed the College’s commitment to professionalism and inter service cooperation in alignment with the Armed Forces of Nigeria. He further emphasized that such high-level interactions strengthen unity of purpose and institutional synergy.
