The Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance (NNCAF), Owerrinta, has successfully conducted its Second Quarter Route March for 2026 in compliance with the directives of Naval Headquarters (NHQ). The exercise, designed to enhance the physical fitness and operational readiness of personnel, witnessed the participation of officers, ratings, Corp Members and civilian staff.
Addressing personnel after the exercise, the Commandant, Commodore Babatunde Usman Quadri, commended them for their impressive turnout, endurance and commitment, noting that physical fitness remains fundamental to military professionalism and operational effectiveness.
The Commandant also reiterated the importance of discipline, urging personnel to uphold the highest standards of conduct and professionalism. He warned against all forms of misconduct, particularly unauthorised and unprofessional fraternisation, stressing the need to respect the chain of command and adhere strictly to established naval customs, traditions and regulations. The route march concluded with physical training exercises and refreshments for participants.
