As part of the Nigerian Navy (NN) 2025 schedule of events, the Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance (NNCAF) successfully conducted its Third Quarter Route March on Saturday, 20 September 2025. The exercise aimed to enhance the physical fitness of the personnel, with officers, ratings, and corps members all participating.
In his remarks, the Commandant NNCAF, Commodore BU Quadri, congratulated the personnel for the successful completion of the route march. He urged them to maintain the momentum gained during the exercise, emphasizing that regular physical activity supports both physical readiness and mental alertness.
Commodore Quadri also encouraged personnel to take personal responsibility for their fitness and overall well-being, highlighting that a fit body sustains a sharp mind. He further called on all to remain disciplined, dedicated and focused in the course of their duties.
The route march commenced at approximately 0600 hours, led by the Commandant himself, and covered a distance of about 10 kilometers. To ensure the safety of all participants during the exercise, the College collaborated with the Federal Road Safety Corps for effective traffic control.
