On Wednesday 24 September 2025, a team from the Abia State Security Trust Fund paid a visit to the Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance (NNCAF), Owerrinta. The Team was led by the Secretary, Abia State Security Trust Fund, Mrs Cleopatra Nkolika Ubani, accompanied by the Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on Security Matters, Commander Macdonald Ubah (rtd).
During the visit, the Commandant NNCAF, Commodore BU Quadri, expressed gratitude to the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR for his unwavering support and commitment to strengthening the College’s capacity to contribute effectively to the security of Abia State. The Commandant acknowledged the critical role such support has played in enabling the College to fulfil its mandate of providing Military Aid to Civil Authorities (MACA) within its Area of Responsibility.
Also speaking during the visit, the Secretary to the Abia State Security Trust Fund, Mrs Cleopatra Nkolika Ubani, commended the College for its pivotal role in safeguarding the lives and properties of the people of Abia State. She assured the College of the Trust Fund’s support in addressing its critical needs.
The visit highlights the shared commitment of both organizations to enhancing security frameworks and cultivating effective partnerships to ensure a safe and secure Abia State.
