On Friday 8 of August 2025, the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), Rear Admiral RO Obeya paid a visit to the Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance (NNCAF) as part of his ongoing familiarisation visits, tour of professional schools, colleges and establishment under his command. The FOC was warmly received by the Commandant NNCAF, Commodore BU Quadri and other staff of the college.
The visit commenced with the inspection of the key areas in the college such as the swimming pool, the newly renovated 14-man officers’ accommodation, the newly remodeled ratings arrival hall, college armoury, parade ground and classrooms. The FOC NAVTRAC further assessed the progress of work ongoing at the 30-man student officers’ accommodation in the college before proceeding to NN Hospital at Ngor-okpala.
In his remarks, Rear Admiral Obeya commended the Commandant NNCAF for maintaining and improving the colleges facilities and creating a conducive learning environment for personnel. He urged the Commandant to keep up the good work and promised to continue supporting the college for enhanced effectiveness.
The visit was concluded with the presentation of souvenirs, signing of visitors book and a group photograph.
