NIGERIAN NAVY COLLEGE OF ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE GRADUATES STUDENT OFFICERS AND RATINGS, COMMISSIONS NEWLY COMPLETED ACCOMMODATION FOR STUDENT OFFICERS

On 9 December 2025, the Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance held the graduation ceremony for students of Officers Basic Course Batch 39, Petty Officer Qualifying Course Batch 47, Leading Hand Qualifying Course Batch 47 and Basic Qualifying Course Batch 55. The event drew an impressive array of dignitaries including the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral I Abass (Admiralty Medal), who was represented by the Chief of Accounts and Budget, Rear Admiral OO Olukoya and the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Training Command (FOC NAVTRAC), Rear Admiral EA Zipele, represented by the Chief Staff Officer, Rear Admiral VD Choji. Other special guests present included the State Commander NDLEA as well as representatives of Commanders of various military formations and security agencies across Abia and Imo States.

In the goodwill message delivered on his behalf, the FOC NAVTRAC congratulated the graduates and thanked the CNS for his unwavering support and steadfast commitment to manpower development and professional excellence. The CNS, on his part, advised the graduating officers and ratings to demonstrate competence and sound judgement in their financial roles. He urged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct wherever they are deployed.

The Graduation Ceremony was followed by the commissioning of the newly completed 30-man Student Officers’ Accommodation in the College. In his speech during the commissioning ceremony, the CNS commended the Commandant of the College, Commodore BU Quadri, for the quality of the work done and for completing the project within a short time. The event was concluded with the inspection of the building and other ongoing projects in the College.
